- you're right more often than me about MSFT's stock movement. And perhaps a gap up tommorrow.

- I, however, believe, there's going to be massive selling in the morning. Looking in the high 150's range.

let's see...normally msft discourages analysts & they wind up beating expectations handily.

this time you can pick up a mildly bullish thread throughout the guidance...

MSFT longs:

This conference call was a net - net positive. Standard warning language on the Q3 outlook (we see it almost every quarter) and a brief look at a possible revenue (and earnings surprise) if anything, MSFT's ability to offset the $8 shortfall with other items with "other items" and the movement of $8 to Q4 will be a winfall for that quarter.

I think there will be selling in the morning more because of ORCL than MSFT, and wouldn't be surprised to see MSFT end up on the day.
