t2k, about the call:

I actually went to an analyst's office that I know to listen to the call. I am not sure about where you can call in to listen to the call. But there usually is a number that provides such a service.

I reiterate my feeling about this call....IT WAS BULLISH.

I think they will beat earnings in Q3 by ~$.02 and Q4 will be awesome. What troubles me about tomorrow is ORCL. That Ellison is a real character. I think he hurts his company more than he realizes.

If one compares/contrasts ORCL and MSFT and their respective leaderships, certain things become clear. First and foremost, Ellison says he sees ORCL dethroning MSFT and then beats estimates by a penny (actually they only hit estimates excluding sale of stock). Gates and company, on the other hand, routinely beat down estimates yet routinely beat estimates handily. Think about it, the guy (Ellison) is laughable.
