" A Medical Nightmare" I was working in my lab late one night. When my eyes beheld a horrible sight My doctor, engineers and researchers too Were all posting a thread, information to view Research, development, and production askew. We are devoting our energy to threading you see So that all could be informed about what was to be My humor was waning, my wallet too Be grateful they said "were doing it for you" Information is needed, not product you fool No need to produce an emergency medical tool My brow was all sweaty, what had they done Hard work, research, production was no fun Streaming out info they said, "is what we do best" Keeping investors informed, "we are up to the test". I pleaded and beg but to no avail They were all threading and linking, no more snail mail The sounds of the connections, servers galore Finally woke me from this data furor. My team was intact, my goals alive and well As we all settled back in to our medical shell. Production quite soon, profits too As all on the thread see success in view At last I can continue with my team at my side For life saving technology does "Fill you with Pride" And to all that have wondered what I think of a thread I can assure you, positively, that it is not something I dread It is after all but one method of choice As we all need to have some message to voice But my bad dream has reminded me then and still That with out the Investor, goals would be hard to fulfill So to all, please forgive us, and we promise to be A little more informative, and yes, on the tread for all to see. Michael W. Jacobs, Thread bare combatant To Jack, Lor, and all please forgive my attempt at humor. When you're in the trenches it helps.
