L3: Well, I think 10K Dow is on the menu and there is a push to make it no matter how weak the internals. The Market could tag Dow 10K and slide way back before it works up to it again. Or, the Market could tag Dow 10K and pop past as the mania continues. And today may have been at least a short-term top...<g> There are a lot of good folks out there, that I respect posting both sides. Time will tell, but in my book none of them will be wrong, some may just be off...<g>...Because, I respect their efforts, period. I will tell you what I did. Last Friday I took my retail investment and my retirement portfolios to cash at the close. Preservation of capital is number one for these portfolios and I am content to leave a few bucks on the table to insure that. I am never in at the exact low or out at the exact high with these portfolios, but close is good enough for me. I am back to just day/position trading again...<g> I think you have to take a position and NOT marry it, long or short. I believe the Market may well be in a trading range for awhile. But, I also believe the possibility for a sharp sell off lurks out there as well. Just like a TEXAS tornado, when you get the warning you head for the seller and you don't wait to see if you are in its path. BWDIK Regards, LG
