Mark,
I have not been able to stop the anti-virus from loading. There does not seem to be a feature in the program to do that. There is an uninstall I found in the files so when it expires I'll uninstall it.
I still have the blue followed link problem. I did as the post said, I closed netscape, deleted netscape.hst (both, I had 2, one from a previous installation) and then opened a new netcape browser and got back online.

PS Well, that should fix it on the followed link problem! I had the history set to expire after 0 days.
