great post at MF. short term, cmgi has been hijacked by the greedmongers. cmgi will tank tomorrow for no really rational reason except that the genius dw-- or the former genius (i say former because since he didn't announce a split many of the posters who called him a genius are probably reconsidering their opinion and will bail out) didn't do what they wanted, declare a split. now whether he's a genius or not hinges on a lot more than whether the stock splits. i'm still long and i'm not going to sell tomorrow although i'll be in the red on at least some of my cmgi probably (if it tanks as badly as i fear). remember how yhoo resisted splitting for a long time and seemed to do okay-- clearly there are some advantages to not splitting. the split, if it comes, will come, as they say, like a thief in the night and the shorties will be caught unawares. imho, eom
