Highlights of latest GBLX research from ML:

*Hiring of R. Annunziata/ ML expects GBLX to undergo a strategic makeover

*Extension of pan-European Crossing (PEC) into 6 additional German cities

*Potential for new cable systems in SEA, SA, and Mediterranean

*Significant increase in long term demand and revenue forecasts/ Atlantic demand could be so large that not only will AC-2 be needed
(scheduled for 2005) but also an AC-3 (for 2007). Their consultant believes demand could be 4 to 8 times the original forecast.

*Planned launch of wholesale services, recurring revenue businesses/
ex. international private lines, ATM services, internet transit, US terrestrial backhaul network/hiring 40-60 salesmen in 1999 focused on the services business, 200 by 2001

Looking better all the time
