you're right in that splits aren't always indicated. for example, yhoo resisted a lot of pressure last year to split and it didn't seem to harm them at all. i'd prefer a split, but for purely psychological reasons selfish to myself. i was content with the lcos deal, and i'm content with dw's leadership, although, as someone else said, i hope his testosterone (or his johnson, as noted on an RB board) doesn't interfere with his business judgment. hopefully he hasn't developed a donald trump ego.

you gotta be kidding...maybe you should tell about 25-30 BIG CAPs that ALL announced splits this last 2-3 months...

splits are wonderful way to pay dividends to shareholders, and great for split players like me......
