I'm by no means an expert in shorting. When I want to short, often can't get the shares. Archer mentioned Anthony and he formed a fund, offshore it seems, and since Anthony's the expert of shorting, I figure this is the better way to get access to shares to short. And that that is likely one of the advantages of an offshore account.

I wouldn't try this as an ongoing strategy. There was a discusson of this a while back on this thread. Maybe someone else can point you to the posts.
