Earlie,

MU is the original pos so random moves in stock price are normal. The MSFT thing puzzles me. The cynic in me says the window for exec stock option exercise may be at hand. Otherwise I saw no reason for today's session.

My best guess on the msft thing was that as the list of preannouncements and bad results grew they wanted to flex their muscle and say not us--either as a stock price protective measure...or perhaps some bizarre strategic move vs justice. On the surface one would think that it would be bad tactics to be positive in the face of the trial, but one never knows.

Perhaps the timing being the same day as oracle's release was not coincidental, also.
