Hi Mephisto, I think this is one of the reasons why xDSL will never reach broadbased support in the market. These guys just need to get their act together. BTW, have you thought about cable modems? If you're interested in the technology and information on further developments in xDSL, the “last mile” thread is probably the best: Subject 4754 Also, you could join some of us over on the Broadcom thread, the leader in communications chips: Subject 20186 BTW, I trust you received TXN's annual report.
