IF it happens due to a Y2K software glitch, it happens everywhere at the same time.

IF it happens due to an ice storm, tornado or electrical malfunction, etc... it happens at one place at one time

IMO, the first one is alot easier to deal with. What do you think?

In my opinion, you can't compare a power outage due to an ice storm, tornado, electrical equipment malfunction, etc.... to software failure.
