Thanks for citing Merrill/Blodgett investment statement. You are probably aware of the week long forum on the internet sponsored by the street.com. either last week or the week before. Definitely worth tracking down in the Archives. 5 articles in all I believe -- some more useful than others but a lot of interesting commentary on a variety of internet stocks and investment strategies. Anyway, that was the first time I had seen Blodgett's philosophy so clearly and I thought effectively presented -- namely, that in terms of long term investment risk, the greater risk is NOT being in at least a selective basket of the leading internet plays. I believe he stated in effect the risk is not losing 50 % of your money in one or two positions but missing out completely on the "5000 %" move. Anyway that rationale shifts the justification away from any one particular high priced stock and highlights the larger investment picture. Good luck -- George Martin
