Notice that I said it MAY be revealing to do the overlay. <g>
Perhaps a disconnect in correlation (divergence) between the dollar and the stock market tells us something.

In August the market led the dollar down. I wish I knew more about the correlation. Perhaps the dollar always lags at turning points, but it would make sense that as an inflationary indicator, the dollar may lead.
