Mark, what do you mean "if"?
As an aside... Are you picking on poor Visnic? He keeps blaming me!

Mark, I wholeheartedly agree with you. Larry seems to believe that the only valid observations of a stock are negative. Fred has consistently been positive and I, for one, will be very grateful to him if Valence comes through as most of us are hoping. I don't disagree that we need to take a balanced approach to investing and we certainly should consider the potential pitfalls but to dwell only on the negative has got to be depressing. I'll bet most of the readers of the thread are like me. When they see a post by Larry they feel like they are going to get a lecture and feel some reticence about reading it. When they see a post by Fred they are anxious to read it. Being around positive, optimistic people is a pleasure. Being around negative people is a drag. Sure, they don't lose much in life because they don't take risks. But, risk taking is what makes things happen. If it wasn't for risk takers there wouldn't be any Microsofts or Ciscos or Dells. If I lose my money on Valance I will be disappointed and a little poorer. But, I will have had fun in the process.

Fred, don't let them get you down. Most of us won't be angry with you if Valence doesn't come through. Nor should any who have stayed out of Valence be angry with Larry if it hits the mother lode. It is a pleasure to read your posts.

David

<<Larry, conversely you will be directly responsible for lost investment if the Valence stock is a huge success.>>

Mark, anybody who makes investment decisions based on what they read on these threads has no business buying and selling their own stocks in the first place. I take no responsibility for the choices other people make. My point all along has been to take what is said on this thread with a big grain of salt. That should be particularly true for unconfirmed rumors, whether they come from believers or skeptics.

From my observation, at least 99% of the unconfirmed rumors on this thread have originated from the believers. And at least 99% of these rumors have proven to be false.

You guys seem to think I want Valence to fail. That is not the case. If and when my skepticsm is proven to be incorrect, I will be the first to congratulate you, as I did in this post. Message 6534670

I may even buy again if I see they are able to secure a favorable financing package. As I've said a few times now, I think the nature of their next financing will be the best clue about their real status, given that real information from the company is nonexistent.

Until then, I will be standing by.

Mr. Johnson,

Do you have any relationship to Valence, its officers or its underwriters?

Have you been compensated in any way for writing comments about the company?

Do you have any relationship with Don Wolanchuck? Are you posting under your real name?

Thank you,
Bill Wexler
