I write naked puts also . . .and write covered calls on LEAPS
Did you know you could do that? I buy a bunch of leaps like AMAT, EMC, AOL and just write covered calls on them . . .and if I see that they have kick ass earnings and there is a possibility for a split then I write a bunch of naked puts because the stock price will start going higher . . .If the puts catch up to me then I buy them back for a wash and roll it over to the next month or I find another play . .
I never ever lose . . . :) then I play penny stocks to keep my blood pressure going . . . I did buy a bunch of puts on DELL right when the first warning from BancBoston about the earnings shortfall and I just cashed those in a week ago . . It was awesome . .
