Taking the liberty of answering your query: 10/15/97.

It closed at 38 on 10/15/97, 30 on 10/16/97, (remember that day?) and then 30 3/4 on 10/17/97, and didn't see the light of a 30's close again until last Friday, 3/5/99 at 30 7/8.

Champagne anyone?

Last time the stock price was at levels you mention the "levity quotient" on The Thread paralleled current highs.
