Well, you should try it again. They did a really nice job upgrading software and network. The only problem may be with AOL users, but I think they will handle it too. Sorry, but most people out there, including me, are not as rich as you. Or they just like to save a few bucks once in a while. I have business associates in Russia, who I talk to pretty often. Net2Phone's 23 c/m beats the hell out of 47 I used to pay for MCI. And sacrifice of quality is not that bad.
I am one happy customer.

the problem with internet telephony has always been quality...the telephone is superior and most times worth the difference...but in long distance cases that require lots of talk time then the web does have the cost advantage...

what the internet model has done, though, is highlight the outdated model of the telephone companies that charge by distance

distance doesn't matter; quality and service matter

the quality of web calls may match dedicated phone calls soon, especially in high-speed environments where packets travel faster

and tiers of service may emerge so that quality is there for a good price
