Regarding Net2Phone not working too well on AOL:

Aol's equipment is overloaded in many areas. I would suspect that the problem was on their end. Talk about growing faster than can be handled, AOL has been having quality problems like hanging up, busy signals, slowness, inability to access the web, etc. for 2 years now all over the country. If you are an AOL user, it depends what area you are in, but a significant number of people have had consistent problems with it.

I use IDT. Virtually no problems with them, and I only pay $10.99 a month for unlimited access.

BTW, many of the news articles regarding the Net2Phone/Netscape deal said IDT would be paying Netscape fees for being in their browser. Keep in mind though, IDT will be making hard cash every time someone dials up from it.
