V3 3500 for 200 bucks? WOW! The way these on-line stores are undercutting each other makes you wonder about this whole I-Net Commerce thing. On the other hand, TDFX keeps its' chip margin and keeps its' board margin all for its' lonesome. I'm guessing that TDFX also probably spends less on distribution than it would for the retail channel. Man at 208 plus shipping I'm real tempted to throw out my STB Riva 128 and Canopus V2 and settle in on one V3 3500 with one source for drivers and support. The downside is that the LCDfx chip on the card may just make it too tempting to shell out the bucks for a flat panel. Those things look real cool and they take up so much less room. Pretty slick to show off to guests - with Unreal or Half Life running onb the screen of course. Hey, anyone going to that gaming convention they're having today in CA? I wonder if TDFX is going to unveil the new box? Joe C.
