Gustave...

>>Looks like the good ol' days for ORDBMSs are over!<<

I agree but Oracle has vast resources and never count out any player that has that much of a customer base and reputation. Short term (next couple of Q's) however, I would expect it to have to prove that it is back on a growth track to have their stock price take off again.

IMO, there are implications here for ODIS. I am getting the impression that analysts are generally looking at DB companies as limited growth companies over the short term.

ODIS again IMO, represents a paradigm shift in DB's as they apply to e-commerce. It is ODIS's job to get to this message out to analysts while simultaneously generating revenue/earnings gains (q over q) in the 50% range and 10-15% in sequential quarter to quarter gains.

This is NOT an easy task however, they are doing better in their gains than Oracle and slowly but surely gaining new partners.

Patience will be rewarded however, it would make this retired old goat a lot happier if it were a lot faster!

First time get my hands on ODIS. Picked up some ODIS Friday at $6.125. They are hiring people like crazy. Not a bad sign to me. Expect price to rebound soon (to new high?).
