Stephen:It is simple the middle men are being squuezed out and margins and end prices between mfr. and retailer are being squeezed thanks to the DELL model. I think this bodes poorly for retail shops that cannot survive on smaller margins but cpus will be sold in ever increasing numbers as they become as prevalent in homes as TV'sIf nothing else MSFT has always been accurate in assessing future prospects and has always erred on the conservative side. They are a great marketing company. JFD
