Wildstar: No, it is a sign that the Market is moving up or sustaining gains on the back of a minority of stocks. IMO

Wildstar,

>>>>> Over the last couple of days, I have noticed that the TICK would get really low (< -500) with the DJIA either down marginally or up. I interpreted this as a sign of strength, but am not sure. Is this a sign of strength? <<<<<

It could be interpreted at times as a sign of strength and sometimes it is. On the other hand the TICK represents all issues on the NYSE so the big boys could be selling some issues and buying others to support the indexes. In other words strong selling in the smaller issues and keep the INDEX COMPONENTs up or not down as much.
