Some more addresses and hints for German stock quotes:
There are some more addresses for getting quotes in Germany. Please be aware, that all quotes are in €, the exchange rate at the moment is 1 US $ = 0,91625 €. You always have to check out the actual rate.(If you use the Yahoo quotation system, you'll find the exchange rate under the symbol USDEUR=X).
Sometimes you'll find an appendix to the quote: G means "Geld" or bid. B means "Brief" or ask. T means "taxed". All these appendices mean that no turnover was made. If you find bG ore bB, then only a fraction of the orders were executed.
Now the links:

1) comdirect.de
Under this address you'll find a field called "Einzelkursabfrage". You can type in the code or symbol of the company. But usually you don't know the German codes ore symbols. Therefore you can type in the name of the company and select the button "Tolerante Suche" (=tolerant search). You'll get a list of companies with a look alike name and you can choose the specific company you actually want. This list even contains US quotes 15 minutes delayed. (NAP = NSD BB; NAS = NASDAQ)
On the opening frame you'll find a field called "Devisen", there the actual exchange rate of 1 € to the US $ is shown.

2)http://www.consors.de/
Choose "BrokersWorld". Then you'll get a frame in the left top corner. Choose "Kurse & Charts". A second frame shall open below. Click on "Suche" and another frame will open. Type in the German security number or symbol or the name of the company. Select "Tolerant" ....See above.

3)http://www.financial.de/
The procedure is very similar to the above. In the middle of the frame you'll find a field for typing in the WKN [(= Wertpapierkennumber)= stock number in Germany], or German symbol or name of the company. In the adjacent field you can select a stock exchange. When the actual quotes appear you may click on the underlined term (this depends on the search criteria you chose ( WKN; symbol or name). Then a further frame shall open in the left corner where you can see the actual daily chart of the company (comparable to LiveCharts of Quote.com in the US). This is the only one URL in Germany I know, where you can get live daily charts free of charge. Additionally you can see all the trades of the day. Please play a little bit the frame! They say, that you can see also the volume of each trade, but as I experienced that feature is not activated until now.

4)http://www.bank24.de/index.html
There is quite a lot of information, but unfortunately I have not enough time to explain all of the features. But if you buy a very reasonable priced German - English dictionary, I guess you can translate all the main headlines. For Germans it is a very useful site!

5)http://www.lgbank.de/boerse/boerse.htm
This is also an exceptional site! But it would also take a lot of time to explain all the features. But if you want to search for any company listed on a German stock exchange, you may scroll down the opening page to "Alle Kurse" and follow the above mentioned advice's. One advantage of this site is, that they now offer a list of winners and losers ("Gewinner" and "Verlierer") of the day live (= 15 minutes delay.

I post this message for all members of this thread who want to check if any US stock is traded in Germany and who is interested in the actual quote. Please note that we in Germany can trade all in Germany listed US stocks either in Germany or in the US. That means I can buy SNMM in Berlin and sell it in New York (or vice versa). I hope the US brokers are aware of that. Clearly that is only meaningful if surprising developments (announcements, rumors) evolve after closing of the US stock exchanges. Otherwise German quotations of US stocks don't differ from the closing price in New York.
