Not to worry Value Hunter, T. Byrnes' response is indicative of the lack of understanding in general by "analysts" with regard to Ampex and its real potential. Here I am not talking about the short sighted sell-off value of the piece-parts of Ampex. Nor am I talking about a half-world view, looking only at the present status of the balance sheet. I am talking about the building of great potential value of a digital-world juggernaut currently being assembled by Ed Bramsom & associates/partners.

So it should come as no surprise, that some of the less astute analysts miss the boat entirely.

IMO, DrD

<Basically, a rather lazy analysis based on the past>

I AGREE!

If he had bothered he would have known that the shareholder's equity is not a problem. In fact it rarely is for any company. It's not something bears hang their hat on when looking for shorts. In fact on wallstreetcity.com low shareholder equity is a fairly good screen for finding value companies.
