<I think its a bad move> ECN's with their high degree of automation is making this possible. I don't think anyone would expect brokers to provide the same level of service at 2:00am as at 2:00pm. Computer networks don't need sleep and the night-owl traders can happily trade with each other on the ECN while the brokers are fast asleep. But like it or not it's just a matter of time. I think it's fundamentally unfair that some people can trade after hours and others can't. If after-hours trading is going on, it should be accessible to everyone.
