Anyone listening to Haines this morning? He just does not want to hear anything that does not support a run to 10K. How can Tim Luke interpret these people as bearish?! you are talking to someone who just bought office '97 for $27 bucks -- you ought to see the volume of their stuff that is sold at Ebay; sure it pales in comparison to the daily volumes of PCs shipped with the stuff, but these are legitimate copies of the SW -- where are they coming from? two choices: 1) it was software at a distrib that couldn't be sold there or 2) was with a box that couldn't be sold and the piece parts (box, software, etc.) are being liquidated to make room for more As Fleck said over on the MB thread -- they will see the glut a little later, but they will see it, too ... I can't figure out how this coupon thing is "good" for them, can you? Is it relatively new?
