It's up to the broker's clearing firm. Generally, it's not so much the broker as the price; brokers/clearing house won't if the price is below $5. They don't like the volatility and the list is too large.

I think there was a discussion of this on the above thread. As a starter, I think you have to have an acct with a canadian broker. They drink Moose Head and that means they will do most anything if you call at the right time, i.e., 10 minutes after Moose arrives.
