Excellent point, Slider!!

My plan is to gradually take some profits in the OSS stocks (VTS and FLC) and buy PZE. As you pointed out, these higher oil prices are going to give a dramatic and instant profit boost to the E&P companies - which are VERY lean and mean after all the cuts. The profit boost should show up for the full quarter ending June if the oil prices hold up (which I think they will).

BTW, many thanks for your excellent posts - I learned a lot reading them.

Slider, you raise very valid issues. I have three key pieces of information which will go a long way to predicting what will happen now.

1. Unlike any other time in history, the price of oil went so low that everyone was hurting badly. I personally believe that this is why everyone came into line so quickly, and this same reason will minimize cheating for quite awhile.

2. Saudi Arabia ran the show and made all the announcements. As a largest producer they will comply. The alternative is a painful loss of face.

3. Even IF there is only 75% compliance, that is over 1.5 million BPD.

To me this is a no-brainer. The rally is VERY real.
