I think Rich is probably a little upset about the subpoena, that's all. Sort of sends a little message to MSFT about messing with the Ivory Tower of Wall Street. I wouldn't worry too much about his comments.

"I think there are a lot smarter people out there"

not necessarily. his job is to create traffic in the stock so he can make a commission.

notice how many of these clowns are lowering their ratings on oracle when nothing has changed fundamentally.

also i believe when they say get out they get credit for last night's price (is this correct?) even though the poor customer who listens sells for this morning's price.

regards

Tech,

This Sherland is the same guy that you all defended only a month ago when I slammed his analysis on the stock! Now you are saying that he is full of it? What a joke!!

MSFT SI Board rules:

Rule 1: If an Analyst or poster says something good about MSFT then take it as gospel and defend his/her honour against any attackers.

Rule 2: If an Analyst or poster says something negative about MSFT then discredit him/her and attack him/her personally.

Rule 3: Rule 1 and 2 and be used on the same person depending on the type of comment s/he makes on MSFT.

LOL!!!!

Regarding the "Deferral" being too high:

It really doesn't matter what Rich says about the deferral being too high, as Maffei has already given the green light for EPS estimates for Q4 to be raised by $.08. That's the bottom line.

Enough said.
