John,

Perhaps I misinterpreted Jim's question but I believe
he is after the price of a stock AS IT WAS TRADING,
say 60 days ago, but NOT reflecting the effects of any
subsequent splits.

QP functions like Close(-512) do not do this. They return
the price on that date, but they also adjust the price
to reflect subsequent price splits, if any.

So if you are backtesting a group of rules which include
rejecting stocks priced below 60, for example, you very quickly
can't enforce this due to subsequent splits after the evaluation date.

Similar problems affect many other variables.
