Doug-

Wasn't this one of your long term holds??

Love 'em or hate 'em, radio and TV call-in talk shows
continue to be tremendously popular. Growth stock advisor
Jim Oberweis recommends Gentner Communications (GTNR), who
holds roughly 60% of the domestic market for the telephone
interface products used to put callers on the air. The firm
also offers top-notch audio teleconferencing products for
such places as conference rooms, distance learning centers
and courtrooms.

Oberweis finds booming sales and earnings at Gentner. Last
quarter's sales (and EPS) grew 31% (50%) to $5.3 million
($0.06) from the same period last year. The firm predicts
international business will help to maintain this robust
growth pace, as overseas sales last year rose from its
traditional 10% to above 18% (15% of the firm's total
revenue).

The full-year picture also looks compelling. Revenue (EPS)
of $13.4 million (n/a) in 1997 grew to $17.2 million ($0.18)
in 1998, and Oberweis predicts it to clock in at $22 million
($0.25) in 1999. "These shares may be appropriate for risk-
oriented investors," Oberweis says. He placed clients of his
asset management firm into approximately 100,000 shares.
