The rumor is that China has already set up a committee to study the possible devaluation. And also look at the gold price which also hints a possible Yuan devaluation. Asia fared not that bad last year, one of the major reason was China still managed 7%+ growth. This year will be much worse. How worse will remain to be seen. China is now facing some very serious problem, high unemployment rate, deflation, etc. Whether devaluation is in China's best interest? It was not last year does not mean it will not be this year. The situation is changing.
