Could it be that the SEC action was triggered by Deloitte&Touche?

Have they been really working on the audit and were they about to publish audited numbers??

Quite possibly--this may have been orchestrated by the shorts. It seems to me that the SEC is questioning whether Deloitte and Touche is really the auditor and if LEAH has actually acuired SM. Once LEAH can show them that these matters are as they appear to be, everything should be fine.
