I do not have ARCA and really am not qualified to discuss it. Maybe someone who has it can comment with more credibility than me.

You can offer below best bid on arca and it will automatically pref
each mm for the size they are showing after hitting the ecn's. So say
we have on the bid

ISLD 3/4 500
GSCO 11/16 500
MONT 5/8 300

and you are selling 1200.

If you offered out at 5/8 arca will hit isld first for 500 then snet
pref GCSO for 500 and at the same time snet pref MONT for 200.
However if someone beats you too it you will get partials. Also the
mm's have some time to refresh there bid after filling (15 or 30
sec's, not sure) so they may pull their bid without filling you, more
partials.

Much better to try and avoid selling in desperation and sell on the
offer to someone who wants your shares as the price is moving up.

Hope this helps
Bill
