I think it may be that they have decided to bid on the C block stuff, which would make them also a player in the US. Not sure however...

I think the fact that Lwin is buying spectrum in the US makes it an unusiall situation. If they can develop some areas here along with their international zones they will be an interesting takeover candidate in a few years. They also have a cheap valuation in comparison to domestic carriers. It also doesnt hurt that Management (harvey incl) has been buying up their own shares at 6-7 dollars a piece. I think the whole 3g issue is big for them because they will have the cheapest upgrade to 3g in countries with competing systems in the 3rd world. Assuming Ericy and Q settle, and chiprate remains the same as CDMA then Lwin is a big winner and will be bought out by bigger telco's for access to thier markets. JMHO

I have been averaging up and buying since 6. I have bought today at 8 but it may still fall back!
