Hi Lachesis,

I know what you mean. You can go broke in a hurry from what I
have observed. I have never traded options myself.
I opened an account to write covered calls, but I never got
around to doing anything with it. Talking to my broker you
are better off writing puts and calls if you have the capital
or the stock. That way you collect the premuim and the worst
that happens is you get the stock at a price you were comfortable
with anyway or you lose your stock at a price you were willing to
accept anyway. If you follow any of Judy's post, you will see that
she does that a lot. She also trades the options, but she can
afford the draw down and she has a good feel for sector rotation,
the technicals and the fundamentals.
