Thanks Helene.
Just for fun while waiting impatiently.
The volume is very low today.
A PR would help next week.
I just ran across an interesting post, thought to share with you all.
Have a nice day,
Johnny

I learned an interesting lesson yesterday.

I have only been using Level II for two months. About 2:00 yesterday, I was looking at a stock I like, ASCT. The volume was very low, but I noticed that the bid was 3 1/8 and the ask 3 5/8. I usually trade using ECN ISLD, and there were no ISLD bids or asks shown.

Because of the spread, I placed a buy order for 1000 shares at 3 1/4 using ISLD.

My order was not filled until 3:30 when only 100 shares were filled. Looking at the Level II screen there was now an ISLD ask shown for 3 5/8.

Obviously, someone had noticed my bid, and put in a sell for 100 shares, so I would be paying $20 commission for a $325 purchase, and then would buy the last 900 at 3 5/8 so I wouldn't have to pay another commission the next day.

Lesson learned!
