Mike, and like Dan Niles said to Micron ( long ago) during a conference call some analyst will stand up and say " congratulations on a great quarter" even if it is a disaster. As you say the analysts like to play kissy face. -g- Mike

MB,
I think I have found fresh evidence that Cramer has indeed lost his marbles! This is from an article of his today that drips with disgust for market skeptics:

"If I have done one thing RIGHT in this business, it is that I have not succumbed to the OVERWHELMING negativity that surrounds almost every aspect of the staid and prudent off-line and TV." (emphasis his)

This furious thrashing away against imaginary bears in the woodwork, along with Joe K's sworn vendetta against analysts who are "wrong," must signal a new stage in the Frenzy of the Bulls.
