I agree, Zeev, that the price seems to be indicating a static situation for the moment. But the excessive secrecy exhibited by the company toward anything related to negotiations with OEM's may not allow enough "leakage" to influence the price. The 11,000 share bid block just under 7 erects a temporary floor, for the day. It was there earlier and was removed for a while, indicating a single buyer. The price is a difficult call right now, but I still think it will hold in this area.

Yep, last night's NBR guest put out the "spring relapse" opinion and he could be right. Odd thing about these dips; almost all the froth is in the large caps, technology and internet, yet the Russell 2000 will probably take a hit along with the big stocks. VLNC does respond to the general market on occasion, it's a bit weak today as is the NASDAQ. As far as "leakage" is concerned, the evidence for that is unclear. After all, the stock went on a roller coaster in Nov-Dec responding to internet talk and SEC filings. What leaks? The biggest real news of late is the new patent for phosphate-metal electrodes. The market ho-hummed the announcement. Go figure! The large bid seems to indicate accumulation by somebody. Is this the "smart money" of legend? If there are any leaks, accumulation would probably take place against the backdrop of secrecy.

Just a ramblin' man.

Why don't all of you who like to argue go to Bill Wexler's Dog Pound and put him down there. It's there you'll find where he's coming from.

Zeev: "Selling pressure?" LOL!!! I don't think so, not with the volume as paltry as it is, made all the more insignificant by NASDAQ double counting rules. I see recent activity as indicative of everybody being right where they want to be with their individual tactics, and now merely awaiting something material out of VLNC corporate. The only thing of interest is every time VLNC's bid drops below $7 the bid size shoots up, indicating sumbody out there likes it when it happens.

Bottom Line? Smoke 'em if you like 'em, 'cause VLNC's treading water until there's news of significance.
