Mark, most of the on-line brokers are requiring 75% to 100%. For example, In general, Waterhouse requires 100% cash, and Fidelity requires 75%.

So do not expect too much "retail support"; retailers may buy calls, but they cannot afford assigments and the big boys know it.

Actually, it's easier/safer taking small bits off the big elephants, if only the elephants are doing the swings.

That is correct. I cannot margin AMZN, YHOO, BCST and many others. AOL is marginable, CSCO is of course, etc. They will no longer margin the highly volatile nets. AOL is excluded.
