I have been following the discussion here on EGGS for two months since I purchased lots of EGGS at 23 just before the bubble burst. I had made profits several times on EGGS as it moved in a range from 22.5 to 26.5. I just joined Stocktalk now, its very informative. Now that the SPO is completed, why shouldn't EGGS jump up in the same way that ONSALE jumped 12 this week and COOL jumped 6 last week - EGGS is a better company as to Internet visits, market share, service, than these two copycats. ONSALE went up 12 just because it announced its 10 millionth visitor or hit--isn't it more important that EGGS had the confidence of high tech underwriter HAMBRECHT & QUIST and the people/institutions who bought 5 million shares on Friday -- they bought it presumably because they think it will would go up more than the measily 14.5 it closed on Friday. Why is this stock still depressed? Does anyone know if the next quarterly earnings report will finally eliminate last years retail store sales, or will we get the same problem as on Jan 27th earnings report which the uninformed thought was a drop in revenue because it had 1998 retail store sales reveues in the comparison?
