Larry, you have a level head but you don't know what people on this board are making - as you know, a highly sensitive issue on SI, sort of like abusing a fisherman for not catching fish! That said, I and I'm sure many others here made triple digits in January alone from pure shorting and February was nearly as good - I'm talking month by month. In fact, I don't make any bets on the market going down - even though I think it likely that at some point it will. You need options for this kind of thing and I don't do them. I think the best environment for shorters is the kind of volatile bubble we have right now - irrational exuberance trading sideways is shorter heaven.

It looks like you called it again. I think it has to go to 176 to make a new high but you are surely within shouting distance. Congratulations on your persistent calls on MSFT.
