Bill, it is quite possible that you are right about VLNC and IMHO it may indeed collapse if they do not deliver a bonafide PO very soon. They have no money past the end of this month and the specter of the reinstitution of a floorless is not encouraging. On the other hand, if they have a PO exceeding $4 MM on hand, they can turn around very rapidly, this because the IDB is standing by to finance their working capital needs to the tune of some $40 MM if memory serves, and Berg has extended a line of credit (probably itself conditional on such a material event).

We had extensive discussions late last year on this thread (well it was mostly a one way street with the bulls attacking the messenger <G>), since the then existing floorless was going to hit if no material PO was in hand by the end of January. Well, somehow, management managed to persuade the holder of the potential floorless to remove that threat to a later date (July, I believe) causing quite a nice rally in the stock. That by itself indicates how the market is looking at stocks having financed their losses with floorless instruments.

Right now the technical picture indicates that there might be another delay in what seems to be an endless line of such delays, and thus, your short position might be vindicated. Just use some close stop losses, since, if by any chance they do get a substantial PO, this stock could spring and challenge the highs set late last year.

Good luck out there.

Zeev

WEXLER, can not resist to answer your INSIGNIFICANT post....

your agenda is KNOWN all over SI...I have read on different thread...where you were exposed as just a bored "basher"...never even being invested nor informed about the companies...just bashing to annoy people....you being short in VLNC is a joke I presume???
the only way you are short, I am pretty sure, is short of money...that is why you envy people who will succeed with their investments, while you have to stay on the sidelines...eh....

BTW...calling a company a "fraud" is dangerous...and will possibly get you once again or even in bigger trouble...you do not seem able to learn from your mistakes....
I will give, if you proceed to call VLNC a stockfraud, your credential to the SI forum and to the Valence Investor Relations Department...you might be going much to far...believe me I WILL protect MY investments...and if some a....like you calls a company like VLNC "stockfraud"...my friend that is stepping over the line big time....it is your choice to get into more trouble.....

"I have no "'agenda'." LOL

Every investor has an agenda, to make money. Assuming that you want to make money, and assuming you're short Valence (as you stated) , then you must have a desire to see the price of Valence drop. That is an agenda, and one of your ploys is to try to discredit anyone that has positive opinions. And be careful your insinuations don't become libelous, since you have a web site regarding securities, putting you in a category more vulnerable to examination by federal agencies. "Stock promotion fraud"?

Save your "doggy do" for the naive investors who'll swallow it.

Meanwhile I'll forward your post to Valence, they may find it amusing.
