M: One other factor to think about with PPOD -- it will soon have competition from WFMI, which is, as you probably know, the largest retail health-food chain in the US. Will the internet have an impact on WFMI? Judging by the continuing flaccid performance of the share price, people seem to be taking a show-me attitude at best. I have, for quite a long time, held a small long position in WFMI (I like the stores), and I'd still like to see the company try out on-line retailing -- tho I have misgivings. On amazon, it may not be about selling books, but they sure have had a major impact on the book biz. M2
