I know that biz better than most anyone. . . Receive about 20 music/recording magazines per month for a long long time. . for instance Mix since it was a newspaper. . .so I stay up on the industry. . .and been recording since 1973. . . But most of the companies with the great products, just can't seem to get out of their own way with their stock. MKIE, SFO, SNIC, CREAF, EUPH, etc., etc. . . only one to really take off has been AVID on their VIDEO software, not their audio stuff. I just don't see SFO or any of them making any big moves in the near future. . . at least until the 96/24 standard is established and that issue settles. . . everyone is afraid of buying things that will be obsolete soon. . .that is why tube stuff has been doing so well. . .at least you can spend a portion of the budget there, because regardless of where the industry goes, you can always use it. Alesis would have been the company to buy into about 10 years ago. . .oh boy. Rande Is
