You guys get to call a new 1929 Crash every Week, short DELL 37 times into new highs, buy puts on Citigroup for 3 months as it goes to new highs, short the Oilpatch at its low not once, but 4 times - calling for NOESIS's $8 crude and NE @ $6.... and generally spread doom & gloom while buying Gold into its perrenial deadmoney zone and watching DOW 10,000 - The Greatest Bull Run in History put the icing on the Invest LTD Looney - Tune Cake.... but -''WE" were wrong and you were the Mensa-Traders ? --- Okie Dokie - I think we ''inbreds'' all understand now...<VBG>... Doc - ''I'' sold off my OS stocks ''prior'' to the run up - per your post ? No - not quite... ask your buddy Michael Happel - he came over to play, got spanked and sent home. Yes we might be accused of being ''inbreds'' over there - and we are ohhhh soooo silly to have traded the patch 4 times in its textbook -'' taking candy from a baby rolling trading range of OSX 45- 60ish not once, but 4 times since Sept. Aren't quadruple bottoms a thing of beauty ? Now if you really paid attention doc; you would have made some money and seen how many times we traded RIG & RON from the low $20's to the $30's (the posts are there - read them) , or how many times we traded FGI from $10-12, or VTS from $10-14 etc... While this Intellectually ''inbred'' thread has taken a holier than thou attitude towards the Oilpatch - we've been fighting back, scraping, scalping and actually making some damn nice trading runs. Sure we made mistakes and we know you guys never have . All home runs - you guys never took a swing and missed did you ? - well that is part of the laugh right there; most of the Critics here don't take any ''swings'' they're just Monday Morning Quarterbacks... most of you have never had an original thought,or have taken a stand on any issue... and if you do and it was wrong; - damn, just change the story the next day and act like nothing happened - right ? The best thing is that all of the posts are all there on the record. You see; what separates us from you; is that we didn't take an amateurish attitude of ''once burned - forever spurned'' toward the Oil stocks. We learned, sure - I like 90% of the World thought we would bottom in June, then July - and we didn't. So what - We made it up in the incrediblely easy quadruple bottom runs of late. Yes, living and breathing the Oilpatch in good & bad times actually has prepared us well. We have done allright of late - honestly hope you guys have as well, allthough after reading the trades made here - that is really a moot point now isn't it ... drsvelte; It's just so nice to know how much one is appreciated - petty jealously is actually the sincerest form of flattery - not imitation...thanks Doc... We're doing all right over in Dogpatch by the way - come on over and visit sometime - we don't bite; well make that we don't have rabies anyway....<VBG>. But, be warned - you can't just spread that cursory, sterotypic - ''it's the price of Oil-stupid'' , or OPEC never complies, Asian demand is weak, or NOESIS predicts $8 Oil- BS - because we actually discuss things on a littler deeper level than that; and we will hold you to the facts, the figures and the truth... something that is in obvious short supply over here in ''Never-Never Land'' - where every Monday is 1929 all over again ! Where Gold is allways just ''correcting'' on its way to $700 again; and where DELL is just another bubblestock and Citigroup the short D'Jour...well someday anyway.... PS - Thean; I think we all kind of have to disagree with your post from the last time you graced us with your platitude filled pompous drivel; it kind of seems that the Street does indeed kind of look forward in pricing stocks today on tomorrows expectations... Come play anytime - try posting your GIFI drivel - (up what 30% since your post) <<I would stay away from GIFI.
