There's a difference between a rumour and an informed posting. I bought ARP based on net info, also CRJ and another which isn't doing too well. I'd say a rumour is a rumour is a rumour - whether at the bar in the Royal York or anywhere else including the net. dd

Re: net rumours. If you had believed BigDude's rumours on the Bre-X thread you could have won or saved alot of money. This one is well documented. But you are right that Net rumours aren't too useful. It is very difficult to know who to believe, especially when people are posting anonimously (BigDude) or with fake names (Mike Sloan).
