>Is it okay to drink champagne outdoors? <

Oh, emphatically yes.

On a previous anniversary Spouse and I took a pair of frosty beer mugs and divided a bottle of '85 Grande Dame into them. It was a good and memorable way to get flash-toasted on Champagne. It tasted wunnerful out of the mugs.

Come on down anytime; we'll picnic. You can probably teach me how to use porcini (as a food that is).

Ooops. ~ >>>.....probably if it's not on the isle with the 4 litre bottles at Safeway, I've missed it.<<<

What was I thinking.

Grocery stores have aisles. Well ~ the beer, there's the beer island. Safety. Shore. Drag yourself up here, buddy. Tssssst

But those open spaces, the furrows, are aisles.

The spaces between the aisles, could be isles.

And if something, like the beer, was on aisle seven, it would be ON THE FLOOR, now wouldn't it.

But it's not. It's on an island.

And there are several of these islands in grocery stores; so they're really grocery isles, aren't they.

The Grocery Isles. (And The Sandwich Isles, of course. Amazingly, named by Captain Cook. There are a bunch of Micro-wave Isles in the Pacific. Especially Bikini. They have a Bikini Isle at Nordstrom.)

If I look at that word isles ~ all I get now is is-les.

is-less?

Payless.

I think isle go to Payless.

They have beer?
