RDIM (OTC BB .54) - RDI Marketing appears to have been working on their site engineering for quite some time. At the end of December John Folger told investors during the last conference call that the demo site could be up shortly. RDI Marketing could turn out a demo site at any point in time and such an event should be met with great enthusiasm. The stock has a yearly high of $1.75 and recently traded as high as $1.25.

I know that Alfred Werner and his team of programmers have been working diligently on the site. That's what following URLs like the following two shows us:

thunderstick.com

rdimarketing.com

The management of PCS will join RDIM in positions pertaining to nationwide product purchasing and the continuing efforts of the Company to acquire additional facility locations. Beginning immediately, the management teams of both Companies will review the technology requirements necessary to administer the new location on a consistent software and hardware platform. Thunderstick Software will accomplish this while integrating the historical membership and manufacturer information into the new database system that is under development for RDIM. The new website launch date announcements will be forthcoming.

What it doesn't speak to adequately is the absolute comprehensiveness of the back end efforts that must already be underway. Even when the demo site opens we will probably get only a small glance at the tremendous efforts under way. How does any company sell the complete product lines of 100's of name brand manufacturers and distributors and do that overnight?

It can't be done.

When it is done this will be such a tremendous achievement. An achievement constantly evolving into something even more responsive and individualized.

Lets discuss this shall we?

RDIM's e-commerce service will allow members to comparison shop among multiple manufacturers and suppliers. Additionally, the site will have live links for updated and current catalogue information. For those consumers who are not computer literate, in addition to the physical locations, RDIM is adopting WEB TV type technology to enable home-style shopping like QVC. The difference, of course, is that instead of waiting for the cubic zirconium to become available at 3 AM, you can make your own choices for products and time. The site will also offer live audio and video product presentations sponsored by the vendors.

The back end work for this kind of e commerce site will be extremely comprehensive. RDI Marketing will be serving an extremely varied number of manufacturers and products. I believe that when the demo site opens this may not be immediately apparent. Still there can be no denying that RDI Marketing is moving forward very nicely with their business plan. When more pieces of the puzzle begin to fall into place I think investors will really see just how discounted the current stock price is to the potential of this company.
